Industry-driven standards should mostly focus on awareness raising among professional users of online platforms around existing tools (legal, commercial and technical) to address P2B trading practices and effective internal escalation procedures which would benefit SMEs. In our view, such a co-regulatory approach will on the one hand successfully address the concerns about platforms dominance andon the other hand encourage SMEs to reap full benefits of the Internet.
