“Europe’s Unknown Champions: The Specialty Feed Ingredients Industry between Innovation & Regulation”

Europe has a world leading specialty feed ingredients industry, strongly driven by knowledge, a highly competitive market, and a true sense of responsibility towards the wellbeing of humans, animals and the environment. More than a hundred EU-based companies, of which about 80% are SMEs, continue to bring forward innovative products and solutions to address key societal challenges of today and of the future for a sustainable and safe feed and food chain to keep pace with a rapidly growing world population. With this Dinner Assembly our aim is to present an industrial champion for innovation and sustainability in the EU feed and food chain, its potential to promote Europe’s place at the world stage and its competitive edge, and how we believe better regulation can help unite three important pillars in the industry: the security of food supply, environmental needs and concerns, and economic growth of the Union.
